HASTY DECISIONS SOMETIMES TRIGGER BACK.

To all you beautiful souls from across the globe, warm greetings and love, Snippets of Inspiration and Thoughts to ponder over, the topic being..

Hasty Decisions Sometimes Trigger Untold Regrets.

Does that ring a bell in your mind? Or many bells of past memories? True..very often we all act or react hastily without knowing all the relevant facts of an issue. This mostly triggers off a conflict for us, as well as for the others. Conflict resulting in friction which in turn sparks off unwarranted fire explosions in our relationships or in our daily deeds. You must have surely come across the story of the lady and her pet mongoose. Well, for those who are unaware of the story..

The narrative.

A lady raised up a mongoose as her pet, just like anyone raising up pet dogs. The mongoose was trained to look after her baby of two months. The mongoose was very caring to see that the baby was safe and guarded the little one always. One day, when the lady went to the nearby river to fetch water, she left the sleeping baby in charge of the mongoose. When she returned, she saw the mongoose with blood all over his body. Immediately the lady’s thoughts went haywire. Thinking that the mongoose had attacked and harmed the little one, she took a huge stone, threw it at the mongoose and killed it. Entering the house, what did she see? She saw tthe baby, still fast asleep and unharmed. But near the child lay a dead cobra, in a pool of blood. The mongoose had fought with the snake and killed it, risking its own life. The lady was aghast. She had reacted too soon. But the deed had been done. She had taken the life of the poor mongoose. If only she had gone inside the house and checked, this would not have happened.

The message is simple and clear-cut. Never Take any Hasty Decision Without Assessing The Facts Of The Given Situation. It Might Even Endanger Someone’s Life.

The question here is: Would you want to be unnecessarily impulsive and cause untold misery or would you want to press your ‘Pause’ button and ‘Stop To Think’ for a minute, before you react? The answer lies within ‘your mind’. It is Your Choice.

My wish for you is that you gain the Presence Of Mind at all times to act wisely and not regret your hasty decisions later.

Good luck and a Big God Bless to you all !
