COMMAND TO THE MOUNTAINS

 

When we use the phrase, ‘Faith moves mountains’ we are very casual about it. We do not stop to think twice on what goes into this arduous task. Do you believe that we literally can move mountains? Not the real mountains anyway.

Here the reference in the Bible are of those problems and worries in our minds that loom up so large that they seem like mountains. Each day adds to its own worries. There seems before us so many obstacles. So then our head and heart seem to burst with the weight of this unwanted baggage that we carry. We double up with the burden and become miserable.

The remedy thus lies within us. Have utmost Faith in our hearts that these problems and worries will be sorted out by Him who has asked us to cast all our burdens on him. Why do we need to worry ? Can we ever succeed in solving all our issues? Never. No man can.

So the easiest way is to confront your problems, take them on headlong and find out a solution. If not, command them to move away without nagging you. Unburden Yourself. They will move away when you truly believe, with the utmost faith, that the Highest Source will find out a way for you. Leave it in the safe hands of your Creator. New ways will open up for you.

But Trust in God and Faith that it be will be done for you, is an absolute must-have, to experience miracles and blessings.

Mark 11:22,23, 24 of the Bible tells us:

 And Jesus answered and said to them, “Have faith in God.”

” I tell you the truth, if anyone says to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says will happen, it will be done for him.”

“For this reason I say to you, All things that you pray and ask, believe that you have received them, and you will have them.”

The doubt in our heart is the one that causes the block between us and God. No miracle can happen when there is even a niggling iota of doubt. The Power of God does not come through then.

People of the Old Testament, did amazing and unbelievable things through the Power of God.  These people worked in concert with God, they put their faith and their very lives in His hands.  They allowed Him to lead. And they followed.  They accepted whatever He provided—whether it was in the form of an obstacle, a challenge or even a victory.  Many lost their lives while conquering kingdoms but attained salvation.  And many conquered kingdoms, stopped the mouths of lions, escaped the edge of the sword, won strength out of weakness, and became mighty in war. Simply because they put their faith in the Lord.

Today we need to understand that deep-rooted faith is what allows us to do the impossible, because working hand in hand with God is what brings in miracles – those things that defy rational thought or logic.

Believe and trust in the Lord like a child. He will never fail you. Thereafter, you will see life-changing miracles around you !

PRAYER:

Dear Lord, Thank you for giving us the Authority in Faith to command to the mountains in our lives in the form of problems, blockages or hindrances that confront us, moving us away from You. Teach us to pray this way, Lord – the Prayer of Authority. Activate Your Power within us. Instill in us the deep rooted faith that will move all blocks or hindrances from before us. May we place child-like trust in You, knowing that You will never fail us. Fill us with Your Love and Peace. In Your Name. Amen.
