What a great reassurance from the lord Himself!
Be strong, do not give up. For, all your efforts will be rewarded.

These words were spoken to Asa, the King of Judah. The King wanted to bring about a reform, yet he was confronted by difficulties. However, he did not give up and in due course, the people called for help from God, who heard and blessed them.

This could be a relatable situation in many lives here.
Are there moments which seem too difficult to surpass? Are you feeling defeated, worthless? Facing flak and criticism all the while? Especially when you sincerely and earnestly contribute to work in the service of the Lord.

Every test of Faith requires patience and perseverance. It is not an easy path strewn with roses. A daily close walk with God is needed to carry any work with sincerity. Being in service for Him, however small or big it may be, is an honour. Let not the voices and vices of the world distract you. Veering away from your Higher Purpose serves no purpose in the long run.

So all I have to tell you, my beautiful friends, is this –

Keep faith as your breastplate and hold onto every promise given to you by Him who has called you by name.

Dear Lord… I thank You for the promises and hope of Your Word. Thank you for Your promise to walk with me. Lord, I thank You that You guide and teach me, as I let Your Word of Truth renew my mind in goodness and truthfulness.

I love you, O Lord, my Strength. The Lord is my Rock, my Fortress and my Deliverer; my God is my Rock, in whom I take refuge. He is my Shield and the Horn of my Salvation, my Stronghold. (Psalms 18:1-2)

Thank you for the Time in Waiting when you teach me so many lessons of Life, still holding me in Your Grace. When I get doubtful and anxious about waiting on you, you reassure me with Your Presence. I know that You will work out things for my good in the long run. Renew and refresh me. Cleanse me and make me worthy of every reward from Heaven.

In Your Name. Amen.
